This is diamond polishing paste, also known as lapping paste. The oil-based formulation doesn't dry out and the colour-coding avoids cross-contamination.
Suitable for polishing jewellery, gemstones, aluminium, zinc, steel, and other hard metals, etc. Diamond polishing paste is best used with wool polishers, cotton wheel mops, felts burrs, etc.
Usually, a range of micron options is required depending on how smooth your starting surface is and the desired result.
