Shipping Rates
Provider: We use a range of couriers to get you the best value. The service we choose depends on your delivery address (i.e. PO Box, residential, or rural).
Calculation: Shipping is calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery region. The easiest way to find the exact shipping cost for your order is to add your items to the cart, enter your delivery address, and proceed to the checkout page – the rate will be calculated automatically before you pay.
Heavy Items - Over 25kg
- These must be delivered by truck.
- The checkout rate applies only to town/city CBD business addresses or local freight depots. It does not cover home-based business addresses.
- If you are unsure if your address qualifies, or if you need a quote for a home or rural delivery, please contact us.
Order Splitting: If you have multiple items exceeding 25kg, it may be more cost-effective to place two smaller orders under 25kg each.
Rate Adjustments: Calculating rates involves a complex matrix of fuel surcharges and external events. If a carrier's rate is significantly higher than what we can absorb, we reserve the right to adjust the shipping charge. We will always notify you of changes before sending your order.
Delivery Times
Standard: Orders placed in the morning are usually delivered the next day.
Regional: Please add one or two days for rural delivery, the South Island, and remote areas.
Support: If you haven’t received your order within a reasonable timeframe, or if the tracking appears stuck, let us know ASAP so we can assist the courier in tracking it down.
Delivery Address & Instructions
Accuracy: Please ensure your address is full and correct. If you notice an error after placing your order, notify us immediately.
PO Boxes: We can usually deliver to PO Boxes depending on the item. If we cannot, we will let you know and ask for a street address.
Unattended Delivery: If no one is present to receive the package, the courier will leave it in an appropriate place. If there is no safe place to leave it, a "card to call" will be left. You may then collect it from the closest depot or arrange for re-delivery by calling the number on the card.
Special Instructions: You may leave instructions in the order for the delivery to be left somewhere (e.g., "Leave at the front door"). Please note: Doing so transfers all liability from the courier company to you in the case of theft.
Collection
Online Only: As a fully online store, our preference is to send all orders by courier. Collection is generally not possible because our stock is housed at various locations. We can occasionally make exceptions if you need something urgently or for large/heavy items, but please check with us first.
International Shipping
Availability: We ship to various popular countries. Rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your country address.
Errors: If you see a "shipping method unavailable" message, contact us for assistance.
Service: International orders are sent via NZ Post Economy Service (3–10 working day target).
Currency: All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
