GENUINE DREMEL PART
This part is also known as 'the clutch'.
If you've got an old Dremel rotary tool that 'makes the noise but doesn't spin' it may be the internal clutch coupling that has broken or become perished over time. To get Dremel apart you'll need to remove the 6 screws with a 'Torx' drive, then pop the plastic case apart. It's easy enough to do for the DIY inclined.
FOR MODELS
Dremel 276
Dremel 396
Dremel 850 Cordless Moto-Tool
It may fit other Dremel models we haven't yet identified.
NOT for 300, 3000, 400 or 4000 models which are directly driven from the armature.
